A great overnight stop.
We stayed in one of the family suites which was very reasonably priced, clean, plenty of space and the staff were really friendly and made you feel welcome. It had everything you need for a great nights sleep, nice and quiet, the beds were really comfy, it was nice and warm and the breakfast in the morning was cooked to order and delicious. We would definately stay here again.

Blackburn family visit
Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic - we both enjoyed our 1 night stay at the Avenue. The room was clean and modern with good facilities, the staff both in the hotel and for breakfast were very helpful and willing to talk and this all made for a very pleasant stay. When we visit family in Blackburn again we will use this hotel as the quality and cost is very competitive.

A nice surprise
Very good, and value for money. Ideal for our situation. Nice quiet area and close to the people we were visiting. We wish the new proprietors every success, with their venture.

Hey!
Just a quick note to say a huge "thank you" to both you and your staff, following my recent extended stay at The Avenue (circa 17 weeks?!). You truly could not have made my stay any more comfortable! We often hear about someone going 'the extra mile' or being prepared to do so; rarely, and perhaps rather sadly, do we see tangible evidence of the same (least not in my experience, although there are some who would cast me as a cynic?!).
Without doubt the two of you, together with your staff, demonstrated your very human side on several occasions. It was apparent to me that when it comes to the art of customer care 'the extra mile' is something that is firmly embedded within your approach. To be totally honest it was a bit of a wrench to wave you goodbye however, a change of direction beckoned (albeit at times in an unconventional fashion!) in the context of opening the next chapter in the book of life.
If there is a warmer, more hospitable welcome in the Ribble Valley than the one I encountered at The Avenue, then whoever has the pleasure of staying at this place will be very lucky indeed! Keep on smiling and simply being yourselves and I am certain your business will flourish. You are, in my opinion, destined for success!
Apologies for not getting in touch sooner; I did call in prior to Christmas however you had just left for the holidays!
Thank you so much for all that you did for me! Best of luck to you all!
Oh…and beware a man in his mid forties, suitcase et al, calm exterior, entering reception with a view to negotiating a room rate for a couple of weeks or so…that sort can be really difficult to get rid of?!?!
Best Wishes
